It is designed ultra compact and lightweight, at only 11 ounces, and has a 2.7" touch LCD screen that rotates up to 270 degrees for multiple viewing angles. The HDR-CX100 includes a professional Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar zoom lens for 10x optical and 120x digital zoom. It utilizes advanced recording technology including Sony's SteadyShot image stabilization, Smile Shutter, and face detection technology. The HDR-CX100 also has a built-in zoom microphone for realistic sound and a HDMI output for connection to a digital device. So in this field Sony has provided a product which contains maximum of the functions which are required these days. The Sony hdr-cx100 is small is small in size and get easily fit in the palm of our hand.
