Where to Buy

At its price it comes as one of the more expensive miniDV cameras across the different brands such as Canon, Panasonic, and Samsung (were prices typical range from $300 to $400).  That could be explained by the brand, and also because this model was released several years before its counterparts. The one feature it has that distinguishes itself from its cheaper counterparts is the digital still capability at a 1MP capacity.  Other brands either lack that feature all together or have a poor 640 x 480 resolution. It's LCD screen is 2.7" which is a little bigger than the typical 2.5". Users reviews were generally favorable for this camcorder.
