Sanyo VPC-WH1

The Sanyo VPC-WH1 is a standard HD and water-proof camcorder that features Sanyo’s proprietary waterproofing technology so that users can record scenes that were previously unreachable due to water’s adverse affects on normal video cameras.

The first of two Sanyo VPC SD camcorders, the horizontally-shaped (traditional) Sanyo VPC-WH1 features a 1.1 megapixel image sensor, a 30x optical zoom lens, and a 2.5” LCD screen. In addition, the VPC-WH1 offers standard high-definition, progressive 720p (1280x720) recording at 30 fps. Plus, the VPC-WH1 boasts a digital image stabilizer for both photos and videos, auto face tracking, a reverse sequential photo mode intended to help users capture more accurate images, an SD/SDHC card that reads up to 32GB, 43MB of internal memory, and a Lithium-ion battery with a 200 minute running time. The Sanyo VPC-WH1 retails for $649.95 and comes with a 90 day limited warranty.
