Samsung SMX-C14

The Samsung SMX-C14 is a low-end camcorder. It is similar to another Samsung camcorder, the SMX-F33, in that it shares things like the NTSC format, and can use SD cards as storage media. The SMX-F33 however, has more advanced features, such as 3D noise reduction technology.

The SMX-C14 has a merge and split that allows the user to cut and divide clips on the camcorder itself. This eliminates the need for editing software on a PC, and lets the user quickly make any sort of video they like. The camcorder also features animated thumbnails, which make file selection easier. By having the thumbnails animated, the user can tell exactly what's inside it without entering playback mode. On top of these features, the SMX-C14 also has a 25 degree active angle lens, which provides the user with a healthy hand position. This eliminates wrist pains and fatigue, which lets the user shoot footage for longer periods of time.
