Product Shot 1 The Pros:Easy to operate, very simple overall. Picture quality is sharp and clear, DVD-quality. USB port is built in, makes it very easy to transfer files to the computer.

The Cons:Low light shooting gets very grainy, need to light the area well. Comes with some video software that isn't great, needs more features. Pretty bare-bones, doesn't have any extra features such as zoom, special lighting settings, etc...

It retails for $330 and was released in 2008. The Canon DC310 comes similar to this one in terms of features and price range (it retails for $360). This camcorder has a very poor still image quality (.3 MB) which is a value that 10 year old cameras had. Its optical zoom at x42 is pretty impressive, but nothing special considering the price range. However, ordinary users have been raving about this product on forums online.
