Product Shot 1The Panasonic SDR-H200 is a moderately priced camcorder. It has a 30GB hard drive, fairly standard for camcorders made around the same time, and can record continuously for up to 27 hours without changing a disc or tape like other, older camcorders would require.

The camcorder comes with an optical image stabilizer built-in, meaning that the image will not become blurred from shaky hands or unstable movement. The Panasonic SDR-H200 has a decent 32x zoom and a built-in anti-shock shield. The shield works by lifting the head away from the hard drive when it senses a fall, protecting the last few seconds of video. Like all newer Panasonic camcorders, the hard drive itself is cushioned by a protective gel to help reduce the damage that a fall can cause.
