Panasonic HX-DC10

The Panasonic HX-DC10 is a compact handheld digital video recorder. This is an upgraded version of the Panasonic HX-DC1, with 16 megapixel still picture recording and a 12x Advanced Zoom that accounts for fast-moving subjects.

It also includes an Intelligent Scene Selector that automatically selects the proper exposure and light balancing settings for a given scene. In other ways they are the same, including video capture at full 1080p high definition. Face detection functions ensure that the proper focal length is selected, and Image Stabilization enables handheld shooting. Other functions include high-speed consecutive shooting of still images to capture the right moment of a moving subject and macro mode shooting for extreme close-up images.
