The Hybrid O.I.S technology is an image stabilization system that provides optical hand-shake correction.This works in conjunction with the 4-axis image stabilizer that compensates for arm movements. These result in clear video, even while walking or zooming. The camcorder also features Intelligent 23x zoom which, as it's name suggests, allows the user to zoom up to 23x. This works in tangent with the intelligent resolution technology, that preserves the image resolution, ensuring the video doesn't lose it's quality. The Panasonic HDC-SDX1H also has wide angle setting. This lets the user fit more people and objects into a shot at once. When compared to another camcorder from Panasonic, the HM-TA1R, the HDC-SDX1H has some advantages with the Hybrid O.I.S and intelligent resolution technology, but is not as compact.
