Panasonic HDC-HS100

The Panasonic HDC-HS100 is a full high-definition 3MOS 60GB Hard Disk Drive/SD Hybrid Camcorder with 1920x1080 Pixel Recording, Advanced Optical Image Stabilizer, Leica Lens, 12x Optical Zoom, 2.7" Wide LCD and 5.1 Channel Surround Sound, Records to Internal Hard Drive and SD Memory Card.

The 1920x1080 Pixel recording is the highest quality of HD there is. Panasonic is renowned for the quality of its HD camcorders, and has come on top of the HD camcorders for many years. Hoewever, critics have complained that in recent years it has scaled down the features and size of its camcorders, resulting in less impressive performance. It competes with the Sony HDR-SR11/HDR-SR12 and JVC GZ-HD30/GZ-HD40. It uses a 3-CMOS sensor rather than the 3CCD.
