The Pros:Navigating the menus is intuitive and generally a quick process. Quick access buttons to aperture, shutter and speed controls - great for more advanced users. Control dial lets you adjust focus or exposure, easy to use.

The JVC Everio GZ-HM1 is a high definition camcorder set to be made available in March, 2010. The camcorder has an internal memory of 64GB--expandable via an SD memory card slot--that contains no moving parts; this allows for the camcorder to be lighter, create less noise, use less power, and more durability against impacts and breakdowns from general use.
In addition to high definition resolution options, the camcorder also includes a 16x dynamic zoom for close-ups and landscape shots, a BSI CMOS sensor for increased light sensitivity in low-light environments, and K2 Technology for high quality audio as well as video capture. For user-friendliness the camcorder also utilizes a face detection system for auto-optimization when certain people are being filmed, an image stabilizer for smoother video capture even when moving, and one-touch uploads from the camcorder directly to Youtube via a USB connection.
