 The JVC Everio GZ-HD320 is the most expensive member of the 2009 Everio HD line. All members of the HD line feature a new AVCHD UXP mode that has a bit rate of up to 24Mbps, resulting in images with a sharper quality and reduced noise.

It supports Face Detection Technology, which automatically detects faces in the video and adjusts exposure and focus to get the best out of the picture. The JVC Everio GZ-HD320 comes in only one limited color: Onyx Black. The HD Gigabrid Premium video engine has a 30 percent reduction in power from previous Everio models and allows the consumer to create DVD dics for standard definition 2.5-times faster.
