JVC Everio GZ-HD30US

The JVC Everio GZ-HD30US is a compact full HD everio hybrid camcorder. It can handle up to 33 hours of 1920 x 1080 high definition recording. It had a larger hard drive than its sister product, the GZ-HD10US, with 80 GB of space.

The camcorder can take 2432 x 1368 stills. One nice feature the JVC Everio GZ-HD30US provides the ability to handle two formats, AVCHD and MPEG-2, where most camcorders on the market can only handle MPEG-2. The camcorder uses the same technology as GENESSA HD displays, running a function that outputs a 1080 scanning line at 60fps to smooth out jagged diagonals that are a result of interlace images. It is not one of the cheapest camcorders on the market - the price is just under a thousand dollars.
