The Canon Vixia HG20 is the lower-end model of the company's Vixia Series HD camcorders. It features a 60GB hard drive (which can hold up to twenty-two hours of HD video), 12x optical zoom along with a 3.3-megapixel full HD CMOS sensor (1920x1080) and a DIGIC DVII image processor.

The Vixia HG20 records at 24Mbps (which is the highest AVCHD bit rate currently available) and is equipped with Canon's SuperRange Image Stabilizer and Instant AutoFocus for reducing blur.
