The Canon VIXIA HF200 is a high definition flash memory camcorder from Canon's 2009 lineup, coming in just under Canon's HF20.  Like the HF20, it features an 3.89 megapixel Full HD CMOS image sensor for recording 1080p video footage at 24Mbps and taking crisp still images.

It includes Canon's DIGIC DV III image processor for true color production and reduced pixel noise and an SDHC expansion slot but lacks the 32GB of built-in flash memory that comes in the HF20.  The VIXIA HF200 utilizes a 15x HD video lens to create professional-grade zoom shots and is designed with a 2.7" multi-angle widescreen LCD display.  It includes Canon's SuperRange optical image stabilization, instant autofocus, and face detection technology and has an HDMI output for viewing HD footage on a TV.  The camcorder comes with a wireless remote and is expected to be released in February 2009.
