Product Shot 1 The Pros:Camera lens gathers a very sharp image, looks great in HD playback. Gathers enough light to work well in low light conditions, makes the picture very sharp. Accepts standard SDHC cards, and can work with higher capacities without a problem.

The Cons:Doesn't take a normal HDMI cable, but doesn't include the special one it requires. Doesn't come with a battery charger, need to charge the batteries inside the camera. Included battery doesn't even last an hour.

The Canon VIXIA HFS100 is an HD, flash memory camcorder offered by Canon as a part of there Vixia line of camcorders. It delivers brilliant videos and photos thanks to a Canon exclusive 8.59 Megapixel CMOS image sensor and the latest version of Canon's advanced image processor, DIGIC DV III.

It is compact and lightweight in design and uses Flash Memory capable of recording up to 6 hours of high definition video to a removable SDHC card. It has a 10x optical/200x digital zoom and features SuperRange Optical Image Stabilization for a steady picture even when zoomed in. It can record 1920x1080 resolution with a 24 Mbps bit rate giving an incredible quality video, and the built in 8 megapixel digital camera gives great quality photos, and with Simultaneous Photo Shooting you can capture video and 6 megapixel photos at the same time.  Other notable features include a hi-speed USB port, HDMI and component outputs, a 2.7" Multi-Angle Vivid Widescreen LCD screen, microphone terminal, built in lens cover, wireless remote control, built in flash and an array of optional accessories.
