The Canon Optura 60 is a consumer MiniDV camcorder offered by Canon. It has a 2.2 Megapixel CCD and advanced RGB Primary Color Filter which deliver uncompromisingly brilliant results. It is capalbe of full 16:9 recording and features a 14X optical zoom with 280x digital zoom and image stabilization for a full wide-screen image with great clarity.

The DIGIC DV signal processing circuit uses two seperate color techniques to maximize video quality on a TV and still image quality for print or computer display eliminating the need to juggle cameras. There are a wide variety of settings for shooting in almost any situation, including scene modes for foliage, fireworks, beach, snow, sunset and spotlight. Other features include one touch photo downloading and printing, a SD memory card slot and advanced photo controls.
