The DIGIC DV signal processing circuit uses two seperate color techniques to maximize video quality on a TV and still image quality for print or computer display eliminating the need to juggle cameras. There is a 14x Optical Zoom and 280x Digital Zoom which is backed by a 2.2 megapixel CCD image sensor for vivid video quality and high-resolution photos. Other features include an image stabilizer, night mode for low light shooting, panoramic Stitch Assist, SD card slot and an advanced accessory shoe for additional accessories such as a flash or microphone. The Optura 40 comes with with a NB-2LH Battery Pack, Compact Power Adapter, Shoulder Strap, Stereo Video Cable, Wireless Controller, 8MB SD Memory Card, USB Cable, Digital Video Solutions Disk for Windows and Mac, and the Pinnacle Studio 9SE and Pinnacle Instant Photo Album software package.
